Mug Life Studios is a ceramic art and design studio. We hand-paint all types of ceramics including and not limited to Mugs, planters, plates, coasters etc with beautiful and elegant mandala designs that stand out in vibrant colors.
What is a mandala art?
In the ancient Sanskrit language of Hinduism and Buddhism, mandala means “circle.” Traditionally, a mandala is a geometric design or pattern that represents the cosmos or deities in various heavenly worlds. “It's all about finding peace in the symmetry of the design and of the universe,”

Our Story

THE MUG
Those who know me know my love for coffee! I grew up under the influence of ‘The Bean’! My thatha (grandpa) the late and great Rajagopal always stated “Anytime is coffee time”. Just what you would expect from a retiree from The Coffee Board of India! The point being: there are many coffee lovers around the globe! Statistics show that Over 1 billion people all over the world drink coffee daily. Additionally, people from the US alone drink around 400 million cups of coffee each day. Whoa, that’s a LOT of coffee lovers! And what better gift is there for a coffee lover than a MUG and a bag of goodies? So, that is how the idea to paint mugs evolved - not limited to mugs but eventually all ceramics and pottery. This is just a start!
THE DESIGN
THE DESIGN - evolves from my love for doodling - especially on extra long 2 hour conference calls (my co-worker friends can vouch for this ). So, when the love for mugs and doodling came together, there came to be Mug Life Studios! That’s the story!

Meet The Artist

Founder & CEO
Born and brought up in the beautiful city of Bengaluru, India and currently living in the city of Weston, Florida, I have an inborn passion for art. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (BFA) from The College of Fine Arts, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat, Bengaluru India. I have over 20 plus years of experience in the art and design fields, working at Advertising agencies, graphic design firms as well as freelancing. Drawing and painting have been my childhood hobbies and I absolutely enjoy being around my colors!
Over the years, I've also worked in the Mortgage Title Insurance Industry. I am a licensed Florida realtor. So, yes, I've worn them hats, you can say!! But Art and design have always inspired me to bring out the best in myself.
I do believe one must bring their whole self to the table in order to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart. All of these elements brought me to start Mug Life Studios. Ever since I launched this project, the journey has been fulfilling thus far and has quickly gained a loyal following.
